About me

My name is Caroline Jench, I am a Gestalt Psychotherapist trained at the Gestalt Therapy Institute in Cracow and hold an MA in Clinical Psychology from SWPS University in Warsaw. I am a member of the EAGT (European Association of Gestalt Therapy), UKAGP (United Kingdom Association for Gestalt Practitioners) and BACP (British Association for counselling and Psychotherapy).

I gained my professional experience working in neurological and psychiatric facilities as well as within the private sector in Warsaw, Paris and now London. My work is supported by regular professional supervision. Psychotherapy to me is above all else the experience of meeting another person in an atmosphere of acceptance, security and mutual respect. It is an opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with clients, support them with their difficulties and accompany them on their pursuit of change. I like traveling. This passion allows me to discover new flavors and cultures and thus - constantly reminds me that every person has their own unique phenomenon. I believe that every person has the right to self-determination, responsibility for themselves and conscious decisions about what they want and accept from the world.
  • Group WorkWeekly group meetings, workshops and intensive self-development group sessions. Done through the Milestone Institute.
  • Individual PsychotherapyIs a series of weekly, 50 minute sessions, focusing on achieving personal development goals set during the consultation.
  • Couples TherapySessions aiming at overcoming communication barriers and creating the opportunity for a healthy and constructive dialogue.

Gestalt Psychotherapy

Every person is influenced by his or her previous experiences and environment- so are you. They are, after all, what made us the people we are today. Those experiences affect how we relate to others in the present, and it is the present, the “here and now” and the awareness of how we find ourselves in it that is most important.

Phenomenology which focuses on the uniqueness of every person and their experience of the “here and now” is one of the core concepts of Gestalt psychotherapy. The therapeutic process is a person-centered, relational form of psychotherapy, named after the German word gestalt, which means “whole” and this is how Gestalt therapists perceive their clients.
